Slowly but surely, the Environmental Studies Center has resumed its on-site field trips. To ensure transportation requirements are met throughout the District, as well as to allow the Center to welcome as many children as possible, students in grades 2-5 will have the opportunity to visit this school year. The Center offers many opportunities for the community to visit throughout the year, including the upcoming Grandparents Day which will be held this Saturday, February 5! 🍎CELEBRATING A LIFELONG EDUCATOR🍎 Indian River State College published a touching tribute to Dr. David L. Anderson this week. Dr. Anderson held many leadership positions at IRSC, including the role of Vice President of Student Affairs, a position he held from 1989 until his retirement in 2003. Dr. Anderson also holds the distinction of being Florida's longest serving school board member, as he served our community as a member of the Martin County School Board for 32 years. Dr. Anderson was a living example of servant leadership.
