Congratulations to Martin County High School junior Ian Hodges, who is going national for his playwriting skills! His original play about school violence will be shown in theaters across the country. 👏🎉
At just 16, he’s using creativity and storytelling to tackle a difficult subject—and was one of six winners nationwide.
Join us in celebrating his achievement! His play is being shown locally at the StarStruck Theater on October 6 at 7 p.m.

The Jensen Beach High PTSA is once again partnering with Class 101 Treasure Coast to offer ALL local high school students an ACT practice test opportunity.
The practice test will be administered on Saturday, Sept. 27, at Jensen Beach High School. The exam will be proctored, timed, and graded by Class 101. Today marks 24 years since the tragedy that changed our nation forever.
On this day of remembrance, the Martin County School District honors the thousands of lives lost or injured in the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, as well as the passengers and crews of flights 93, 77, 11, and 175.
We recognize the first responders who ran toward danger, including our own Chief of Security, Francesco Frangella, and the countless citizens who rose with courage and compassion in the aftermath of tragedy.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸
