⭐️EXPLORING DREAM JOBS⭐️ Palm City Elementary School transformed its halls and classrooms into a hub of inspiration and opportunity for students during Career Day! About 40 guests visited PCE yesterday and showcased the amazing job opportunities our students can pursue on the Treasure Coast. Each class was able to have four guest speakers talk about their career. "The event was very organized and the staff were extremely supportive," shared Jacob Dromerhauser, a PCE parent and Publix Assistant Store Manager, about his experience as a guest speaker. "How engaged the students were was unbelievable! They asked questions about work-life balance, pay, education, etc. PCE and the Martin County School District are doing a great job preparing our kids for the future!" We are so grateful to the guest speakers who made this such a special learning opportunity! Dive into a sea of science fun at the 2023 Indian River Lagoon Science Festival this Saturday, Nov. 18, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Fort Pierce! It's FREE day of discovery that will be a blast for the whole family with dozens of hands-on, minds-on activities exploring the wonders of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM). The Indian River Lagoon Science Festival aims to show the importance of science and highlight how fun it can be! ❤️🖤COMMUNITY CHAMPIONS🖤❤️ The winner of the Elev8Hope Turkey Basket Drive is... South Fork High School Bulldogs! This is the first year Elev8Hope handed a trophy to the victors, as this competition in years past was tallied in-house by the high schools. SFHS broke a record and donated 539 baskets! The Bulldogs might have won the brand-new trophy, but all of our high schools were champions for our community! Hundreds of families in Martin County will have a Thanksgiving Day meal thanks to the generosity (and light-hearted competitiveness 🏆) of our students!
