**IXL March Madness Challenge – We're in the Elite 8!
Our school has earned a spot in the Elite 8 of the district-wide bracket-style tournament. We have until March 20 to push into the Final Four! How families can help right now:
Log into IXL and practice grade-level Math or ELA skills (or one grade above/below).
Aim for a SmartScore of 80%+ on each skill – every mastered skill earns points for CGE!
The more we do together, the closer we get to the championship rounds. Great job so far, Diamondbacks!

The CGE garden is flourishing! Our produce is plentiful, delicious, and nutritious- no wonder our Diamondbacks are quick to choose these items in our cafe lunch line!
Kudos to our cafeteria manager, Christy Cole, and garden overseers, Ivette Combass and Alexis Gibson, who make sure our students appreciate the effort and taste of freshly grown food.

The CGE PTA STEAM Night is Monday evening, March 2nd, from 6 - 7:30 PM. Visit this free family event for hands-on activities, fun games, and demonstrations. School-wide science projects, including those created by classrooms and every Diamondback 5th grader 😎 will be on display.
