They headed out to the Great Smoky Mountains and had a thrill on rollercoasters in Dollywood. Then, they traveled back to Florida for a week-long band camp at Florida State University. #ALLINMartin👊 #PublicSchoolProud

🍽️SCHOOL LUNCH INFO🍽️ The Martin County School District will cover the costs of meals for all students for the first two days of school (August 10th and 11th) for the schools NOT listed in the photos. After August 11, the regular price for breakfast for all students is $1.50. Lunch for grades K-5 is $1.85, and for grades 6-12 is $2.10. The District will cover the cost of meals for students who apply and qualify for reduced-price meals. All students attending the school sites participating in the Community Eligibility Provisions will receive free breakfasts and lunches with no income restrictions. Teachers and leaders from Dr. David L. The Martin County School District held its oath of office ceremony for Superintendent Michael Maine this afternoon. Superintendent Maine’s family joined school district staff for the occasion, allowing many of the employees in attendance the opportunity to meet and greet while enjoying delicious refreshments provided by our Food & Nutrition Services team. The Martin County School Board named Mr. Maine the Martin County School District’s Superintendent of Schools in April 2023, approving a four-year initial employment contract as part of the measure. #ALLINMartin👊

⚾AVID ALL-STARS⚾ 7th and 8th-grade students recently attended the College Fair and Speaker Series at the Miami Marlins stadium, where they explored local colleges and various career paths. More than 110 Martin County School District students participated, and after the fair, they were invited to the baseball game! On top of that perk, Gavin Farrell, an 8th-grade student at Dr. David L. Anderson Middle, was honored to throw the first pitch of the game, representing AMS and the District as an AVID student! #ALLINMartin👊
