๐Ÿ“ฑUPDATED CELL PHONE POLICY๐Ÿ“ฑ The Martin County School District is committed to fostering a safe, supportive and effective learning environment for all students. In order to maintain a focused learning environment, the Martin County School Board has updated the Code of Student Conduct policy regarding cell phones/wireless communication devices. Here's what you need to know: ๐Ÿ‘‰Devices Off & Out of Sight: All devices must be turned off and stored in purses or backpacks during the school day. This includes cell phones, earbuds, smartwatches and smartphones. ๐Ÿ‘‰Corrective Actions: Devices seen during school hours will be TAKEN AWAY. Parents/guardians must visit the school to retrieve them, and repeated offenses will lead to further disciplinary action. ๐Ÿ‘‰Communication: For urgent messages, parents/guardians should contact the school's front office. School staff will ensure the message reaches your student promptly. We appreciate your support. Let's work together to create a distraction-free environment for all students! ๐ŸŽCELEBRATING EDUCATIONAL EXCELLENCE๐ŸŽ In April, more than 150 Martin County School District students were celebrated for earning a PERFECT score on one or more state assessments in the 2022-2023 school year.
