📱UPDATED CELL PHONE POLICY📱 The Martin County School District is committed to fostering a safe, supportive and effective learning environment for all students. In order to maintain a focused learning environment, the Martin County School Board has updated the Code of Student Conduct policy regarding cell phones/wireless communication devices. Here's what you need to know: 👉Devices Off & Out of Sight: All devices must be turned off and stored in purses or backpacks during the school day. This includes cell phones, earbuds, smartwatches and smartphones. 👉Corrective Actions: Devices seen during school hours will be TAKEN AWAY. Parents/guardians must visit the school to retrieve them, and repeated offenses will lead to further disciplinary action. 👉Communication: For urgent messages, parents/guardians should contact the school's front office. 🍎STATE ASSESSMENT RESULTS RELEASED🍎 The Florida Department of Education released state assessment results for the 2023-2024 school year, and the Martin County School District excelled! Our students have demonstrated outstanding achievements across multiple subjects and grade levels, surpassing state averages and setting new benchmarks for excellence. Notable Achievements: 💫MCSD outperformed Palm Beach County in Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Science, Civics, and U.S. History. 💫MCSD outperformed St. Lucie Public Schools in English Language Arts, Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Science, Civics, and U.S. History. 💫MCSD outperformed Indian River County in Algebra, Civics, and Writing.
