🍎#THANKANMCSDPRINCIPAL🍎
Parent Debbie Wegner is grateful for Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School Principal Tim Aitken.
"Tim, my kids are no longer in middle school, but here I am writing about you," she shares. "Your thoughtful leadership with your staff, your kindness and guidance for all students, and your support of our community is phenomenal - we are so blessed to have you in our school system. I only wish you could have 'leveled up' with my children! Thank you. Middle school can be such a scary place for kids and parents. You make the difference for them every single day."

💡SPOTLIGHT ON #MCSDPotential🌟💡
Mrs. Holland and Principal Aitken of Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School help students achieve their #MCSDPotential🌟 by making sure they always have access to learning resources.
"While my daughter was out on quarantine, she was not able to access the Google Classroom for one of her teachers," parent Barbara Plasse shared. "I emailed Mr. Aitken to ask how we could fix the situation so my daughter wouldn't have 10 days of work to make up. He promptly emailed me back and let me know she was being assigned to Ms. Holland so she wouldn't fall behind. Ms. Holland emailed me to let me know my daughter could access Google Classroom to get her work and that if she had any trouble, she should call her during her planning period. My daughter could not log on and called Ms. Holland for help. I received a call from Mr. Aitken letting me know that while it would take 24 hours for the problem with Google Classroom to be resolved, Ms. Holland was making a binder for my daughter with all of the missing work. He stated he would personally deliver the binder to my home as my whole household was on quarantine. I feel as though Ms. Holland went above and beyond by giving my daughter her personal phone number to call for help and then putting the binder together so she wouldn't fall behind. Also, for Mr. Aitken to hand deliver the work to us was more than I would ever expect a principal to do. I am so thankful for both of these educators and their willingness to go above and beyond."
This is what it means to go #ALLINMartinđź‘Š!
