Mrs. Clark’s 2nd graders had a blast learning about magnets! ✨ The 2nd graders were hands-on, experimenting with different magnets to see how they attract and repel. From making paperclips “magically” float to testing which objects are magnetic, it was a fun and interactive science lesson! 🔬These curious minds are discovering the wonders of science in the most exciting way! 🌟

In Mrs. Clark’s class, second graders engage in hands-on learning by constructing analog clock hands out of Play-Doh, helping them develop their time-telling skills. 🎨🕰️ They’ve been practicing reading clocks while squishing, shaping, and having fun with Playdoh. It’s the perfect way to combine learning and play. These future timekeepers are definitely mastering the hours and minutes in style! 👏🌟MA.2.M2.1

JBE STREAM Night was a success! Students and families participated in A Visit to the Everglades with a variety of hands on activities all themed around the Everglades ecosystem. Did you know Jensen Beach is part of the Greater Everglades Ecosystem? As a Gold Level Everglades Champion School our students have Everglades literacy integrated into our curriculum. We are proud of our students Everglades knowledge and the opportunity to help educate our families as well. They are equipped to be environmental stewards of the plant and animal wildlife all around us. A special thank you to our community members that attended and shared their expertise with our school community! The Everglades Foundation, In Water Research Group, the Environmental Studies Center, and our own JBE Eco Action Team. Thank you to our amazing JBE PTA for sponsoring the event as well! #ALLINMartin #IgniteTogetherMCSD #ignitespiritmcsd
