We are excited to announce that EFMC's Back-to-School Reading Rally is back! 🎉
If every student in a homeroom earns at least 1 point by September 5, the entire class will receive a token to choose their first book of the year from the EFMC Book Vending Machine to add to their home library! Quizzes are taken by going to the MCSD Reads app on ClassLink.
All reading counts — even reading with parents or friends, or reading along with an audiobook. Let's rally together and get free books in the hands of our students! 📚 #EFMCisHereForMe

The first day of school is almost here, and now’s a great time to remind your student about the District’s cell phone and wireless device policy and avoid an unexpected trip to campus to retrieve a confiscated device. 😅
ℹ️ During school hours, cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other wireless tech must be off and out of sight.
Here’s what families should know:
📲 Devices that are seen or used during the day will be confiscated.
📲 Only a parent or guardian can pick them up, and only at a time set by school staff.
📲 Repeated offenses constitute insubordination and may result in suspension.
Need to contact your child? Call the school office—we’ll make sure they get the message promptly.
Thanks for helping us create a focused, distraction-free learning environment. Let’s start the year strong, staying present and connected in all the right ways!

Fossil fun was in full swing at Palm City Elementary School Extended Day Summer Camp, where students had a jaw-some time exploring the world of sharks with Jurassic Parts Outreach Programs’ Shark Tooth Lab!
Campers got up close with real shark jaws and teeth, learned how to identify and categorize fossilized chompers, and even created their own shark tooth necklaces. 🦷🌊
It’s just one of the many fun, enriching experiences happening in our A-rated District this summer!
