🍎LEAVING A LEGACY🍎 During the School Board meeting on Tuesday, Superintendent Michael Maine and the School Board honored Ms. Mary Ann Conrad for her 35-year career with the Martin County School District. A true Viking through and through, Ms. Conrad was a 3rd-grade student when the original Jensen Beach Elementary School campus opened—and years later, she returned to teach the very same grade. Throughout her career, she served not just as a beloved 3rd-grade teacher but also as a cheerleading coach, writing coach, and the creative force behind many cherished JBE traditions that will carry on for years to come. 🍎LEAVING A LEGACY🍎 During Tuesday evening’s School Board meeting, Superintendent Michael Maine and Board members proudly honored the career of Ms. Lizabeth Careccia. Ms. Careccia has served the Martin County School District for 26 years (technically longer when counting her time as a substitute), beginning as a 1st grade teacher in 1999. She spent over a decade in the classroom before transitioning first to SeaWind Elementary - Hobe Sound, FL, and then Martin County High School in 2019 as an Intervention Problem-Solving Coach. Her dedication to students, families, and colleagues has left a meaningful mark.
