FHSAA released its Overall Academic Team rankings for the 24-25 school year, and we're proud to share that South Fork High School earned ๐ฅ Overall in Class 5Aโtheir third consecutive year at the top!
Weโre also proud to celebrate:
๐ Jensen Beach High School โ 3rd place in Class 5A
๐ Martin County High School โ 11th place in Class 6A
To qualify for this prestigious recognition, athletic teams must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPAโproving that our student-athletes' commitment extend beyond game day.

Graduation ceremonies may have wrapped upโฆ but we still have seniors to celebrate!
This evening, we are shining a spotlight on Martin County High School senior Riley Mead!
"Riley attended Citrus Grove Elementary School and Hidden Oaks Middle School before Martin County High School," proud mom Shellee shared. "He had so many amazing teachers along the way: Ms Kirkham, Ms Brown, and Mrs Jacobson to name a few. Thanks to you all! At MCHS he had an outstanding team of teachers and support staff guiding him along the way too. A special shout out to Ms. Edwards, Mr. Wilson, Ms. Luna, and Mr. Francke for always believing in him!"
"In high school he completed the Culinary Program earning 2 industry certifications and was a member of National Honor Society," Shellee continued. "His greatest achievement though was earning Boy Scoutsโ highest rank of Eagle Scout in 2023, a rank which only 4% of those who join scouting ever reach. For college Riley intends on starting at Indian River State College then transferring to the University of Central Florida and then onto Optometry school. Riley we are so proud of you and are excited to see what the future holds for you!"

CELEBRATING OUR GRADUATING EAGLES๐ฆ
No matter what school name appears on the diplomaโSpectrum Academy, Martin County High School, Jensen Beach High School, or South Fork High Schoolโthis milestone is one to be celebrated.
Before our traditional high school graduation ceremonies begin, Spectrum Academy graduates were honored in a heartfelt celebration surrounded by staff, loved ones, and very proud school and District leaders, including Superintendent Michael Maine, School Board Chair Amy Pritchett, Board Members Dr. Brian Moriarty, Christia Li Roberts and Jennifer Russell, along with Deputy Superintendent Dr. Tracey Miller, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services Dr. Lisa Estevez, and current Port Salerno Elementary Principal Lauren Gifford.

This morning, we are shining a spotlight on South Fork High School senior Marissa Brodie!
"We are so proud of Marissa for all of her hard work," mom Cheyenne shared. "She has had straight As since middle school, and has always strived to do her best. Sheโs in the top 5% of her graduating class, an International Baccalaureate student at South Fork High, and a pharmacy technician. She has been accepted to Palm Beach Atlantic University - PBA to pursue a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and eventually become a pharmacist. Thank you to her amazing teachers Mrs. Baird, Mrs. Troisi, Mrs. Bennett, and Dr. Shewmaker for helping every step of the way. We cannot wait to see what the future has in store for her."

During Tuesday nightโs meeting, the School Board received an exciting update on the progress made to the Martin County High School and Hidden Oaks Middle School ballfieldsโthanks to the partnership between the Martin County School District and the McNicholas Family Foundation , Florida Baseball Club, and dedicated community supporters like Star Farms, The Ranch, and Perfect Pitch.
These fields have undergone a remarkable transformationโnow state-of-the-art spaces that will serve students, athletes, and families for years to come.
